About Burlington Catering
Burlington Catering is a leading catering company that delivers first class food for every occasion. The company is located in Burlington, Ontario. Catering services are offered to customers in The Golden Horseshoe, Halton, Hamilton Wentworth, Peel, Brant and surrounding counties.
As a company that has been in business for the past three years, Burlington Catering is constantly growing by meeting and obtaining new clients. The company was established by Fred Wicks, a certified Red Seal Chef with thirty years of experience. After a motorcycle accident, he was unable to work in an industrial kitchen. This inspired him to launch his own business. Today, after a series of reconstructive surgeries, he is able to walk and handle the daily demands of his catering business.
Chef Fred combines his training in the culinary arts with the philosophy of his catering service; to provide good honest food in an inspiring and tantalizing way at an affordable price. Whether it’s a luncheon, a cocktail party, a birthday, a wedding or a corporate meet, Chef Fred has the skills to deliver and fulfill his client’s expectations.
Partnering with Mosaic Marketing to provide catering services for corporate clients such as Rogers Telecommunications and Microsoft as well as catering for the Canadian Walk of Fame Gala are a few of our noteworthy achievements.
The Burlington Catering Difference
When it comes to planning your wedding or special event, choosing the right caterer can be a challenge. There are many factors to consider and selecting the best service provider for your special event can quickly become overwhelming.
We understand that every customer is unique and has different needs, budgets and requirements to meet. Our strength lies in our ability to plan custom menus. For example we provide special menus for clients with food allergies and sensitivities such as gluten-free diets. We also provide yegan and vegetarian options.
Burlington Catering has the capacity to cater to events by placing a mobile kitchen at any location and providing full service catering to clients which surpasses the expectations of hungry and delighted guests.
We have a green policy at Burlington Catering and use organic food wherever possible. We use only sustainable seafood. This is seafood that is caught or farmed in ways that respect the long-term vitality of harvested species, the well-being of the oceans, and the livelihoods of fisheries-dependent communities. We use only certified humane raised and handled meats. The Certified Humane Raised and Handled® label on a product assures that the food products have come from facilities that meet precise, objective standards for farm animal treatment.
Our prices are unbeatable. We do not charge clients for chef fees, equipment rental & travel fees. We also do not add a mandatory gratuity fee, or tip. We leave that up to the discretion of the client if they wish to recognize and reward our exemplary service.
We are proud recipients of awards at Kitchener's Ribfest, the Bronte Creek Chili Cook-off and the Hamilton Soupfest.
We regularly donate our time and services to cater events for non-profit charities such as Community Living Hamilton. We provide their clients with Christmas dinner and aid in annual fundraisers.
